Greystones to Bray Cliff Walk
Due to a landslide caused by erosion of the cliff face resulting in a portion of the walk falling to the beach below immediate works are required and there will be no through route from
Friday 23rd March to Friday 30th March ’18.
The route remains accessible from both the Bray and Greystones ends as far as the work site
Wicklow County Council regrets any inconvenience caused by these works, however, the safety of the public is of primary concern.
***The Cliff Walk re-opened ahead of Schedule, from 28th March 2018***
A stunningly beautiful walk,following the Train line,from Greystones to Bray,which clings to the rugged Bray Head.
The Cliff Walk takes approx 2 Hours,and walkers should be prepared for changeable Weather conditions.
Appropriate Footwear and Clothing are required,as the Walk is over rough terrain.
Walkers are rewarded with excellent views,not to mention the Fresh Air!
In the Summer Months,Sundays at Greystones Marina features an Art & Photography exhibition,and Greystones Live! - GCR broadcasting Live from the walled garden,of The Beach House.
The Beach House is a welcome sight for walkers,and their warm welcome,excellent food and extensive beverage selection is sure to please all.
A regular Bus & Rail service may be availed of,for your return journey - the Bus Stop is right outside The Beach House!
